I bought this not realizing it was for the original DeWalt System and I have System 2.0. After watching the installation video I realized that all that was changed on the 2.0 System was that DeWalt added a "pretty" yellow cover on the bottom. It took me 2 minutes to pry it off and install this kit and it works perfectly. Slap the yellow bottom cover back on if you like or leave it off like the original.

Quality of parts is exceptional. Fit is tight and precise. Only odd thing found was mounting fasteners are two different lengths with no mention as to which ones go where. I installed the shortest ones on the side latches and the longer ones on the adapter plate mounting brackets. No problems were found with this setup.

The product was great. I just made a little customization of the plate. I make the curve straight so that the button part of the DeWalt box will fit to the plate. The product was good and sturdy. Thank you.
